  3. After 10 mins the mix will start to turn golden & aromatic.
  4. The mixture will turn dark brown indicating wheat flour has cooked completely. Keep aside
  5. Now in a saucepan take 1 cup sugar & 3 cup water, stir well-dissolving sugar & boil for 2 mins. No need to get thread consistency sugar syrup.
  6. Pour the hot boiling sugar syrup over wheat mix stirring continuously, be careful as the mixture splutters.
  7. Keep stirring continuously till wheat mixture will absorb all the water, now add cardmom powder,chopped nuts and mix well
  8. Once done switch off the flame,
  9. Finally garnish with some almonds & serve Atte ka halwa hot or warm.
