Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Oats and Peanut Laddu:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup roasted peanuts
- 1/2 cup seedless dates
- 1 handful almonds (10-12)
- 1 handful walnuts
- 1 handful pistachios
- 1/4 cup dry coconut flakes or desiccated coconut
- 1/4 cup flaxseeds
- 1/4 cup seasami seeds
- 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
- 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 1/3 cup jaggery
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
Instructions to make to make Oats and Peanut Laddu
- Remove the skin of peanut. Chopped dates, so that it will be blend easily. Dry Roast rolled oats in low flame, until crunchy and golden, it takes approx 8-10 minutes. Allow it to be cool completely and keep 2tbsp roasted oats aside.
- Dry roast all the dry fruits, dry coconut flakes, seasami seeds, flaxseeds and pumpkin seeds separately, until it become aromatic and crunchy. Allow all come to the room temperature.
- In a grinding jar add dry fruits, half peanuts, flaxseeds, seasami seeds and pumpkin seeds. (Keep 2tbsp seasami seeds aside) Coarsely grind everything, and transfer it in a bowl, keep it aside. I like the crunch of dry fruits and seeds that's why I make it coarsely grind but, If you want you can grind it to powder.
- Further, grind rolled oats, remaining peanuts and coconut flakes together.
- In the same grinding jar add chopped dates to the oats powder and blend it again. In this way dates and powder ingredients combine very well and it become soil like texture.
- Heat ghee in a big pan or kadhai add jaggery, cook in a low flame until jaggery melt and bubbles. Turn off flame.
- Immediately add all ingredients that we prepared along with 2tbsp oats and seasami seeds that we keep aside before. Add cinnamon and cardamom powder. Mix everything together nicely. When the mixture is little hot start making laddus.
- Once you make all the Laddus, allow them to be cool completely Further, store it in a airtight container and relish whenever you want. Enjoy 😊
