  1. Wash the amlas thoroughly with water.
  2. Now in pan take some water enough in which the amlas can immerse easily. Bring to boil and add the amlas. Boil till the amlas open up.
  3. Let them cool. When cool separate the halves of the amlas.
  4. Now grind them to a smooth paste in the grinder. Donot add water to grind.
  5. Now transfer the mixture in the pan. Switch on the gas and keep the flame on medium low. To it now add gur and mix well till the gur mix well. Now add jeera powder, ajwain powder, saunf powder, hing, ginger powder and lemon juice mix well and keep on stirring constantly
  6. Now add amchur powder and stir continuously. Till the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan
  7. Switch off the gas and let it cool.when rahein mixture is cooled make small small balls and roll them either in powdered sugar or dessicated coconut.
  8. Make the balls of all the mixture. And you can preserve them in a jar
