- 650 gms (net wt) Peeled and grated Desi Gajar or Red Carrot
- 100-150 gms Desi Ghee
- 1 tsp Green Cardamom Seeds Powder
- 1 litre Full Cream Milk
- 4 tbsps Milk Powder
- 30 gms Cashewnuts (whole or chopped)
- 210-225 gms or as per taste Condensed Milk

- In a pot, put the grated carrot, add Desi Ghee and mix well. Put it on the flame and saute it for 5-10 minutes. Add milk and let it come to boil and cook, in between add in the Cardamom seeds powder & milk powder too and mix well, cook till the milk reduces by more than 50%. Add in the condensed milk and cook further for another half an hour or so, till all the moisture/ milk reduces and the ghee starts separating from the halwa. In the process of cooking, add in the cashew nuts too. Serve warm.
