- Combine maida,dahi, baking powder and ghee.Mix well. Make a smooth paste by adding little water at a time.whisk it for 2 -3 mins so the air incorporates. Keep it aside for half an hour.
- Add sugar and water in a pan for preparing chashni. Keep the flame on med low and keep stirring till sugar melts.
- Add lemon juice And keep stirring till you get one string consistency. Add colour and keep it aside.
- Fill the prepared batter in piping bag. You can use empty milk pouch or ketchup bottle too.
- Heat oil or ghee in shallow pan or kadahi.I used pan and filled it with desi ghee 300 gms approx.
- Keep the flame medium and carefully make it round whirls.Fry them till light golden in colour.
- Take them out and immediately soak them in Lukewarm sugar syrup for about 1 minute. Don't Dip it too much otherwise it will get soggy and won't have that crunch. Remove from syrup and serve hot.
