  4. 1/3 cup sugar
  5. 1/4 cup fresh cream

  7. 1/4 cup milk powder (i used nespray)
  8. 3 tblsp ghee
  9. 1 small tin nestle cream
  10. 3 tblsp ground almonds

Instructions to make to make Carrot/ Gajar Halwa

  1. Melt ghee in a pot with elachi powder. Add carrots and mix with ghee. Mix together full cream milk, cardamon, sugar, fresh cream, and milk powder and add slowly to carrots...(i whizzed with a stick blender here until carrots were a little more mushy)
  2. Cook on medium heat until all the milk is absorbed, stirring continuously. When almost dry, add the following: 3 tblsp ghee, tin nestle cream and ground almonds Cook till dry... Keep stirring, taking care not to burn.. Serve with sliced almonds Enjoy
