- When the peanuts have become cool down, then rub them with your hands or a kitchen towel that the husks peels of easily.then crush them slightly with rolling pin.pp
- Now in a pan add crushed jaggery.it is necessary to crushed the jaggery otherwise there will be chances to burn it.cook the jaggery on low flame untill they dissolved well
- Keep on cooking and stir continuously.to check the consistency of syrup take cold water in a bowl put few drops of jaggery in bowl check that the syrup should be firm,brittle and break easily.At this stage add ghee mix it then add crushed peanuts mix well switch off the flame.
- Quickly poured the mixture into greased plate or plastic sheet or butter paper.spread evenly and roll it with rolling pin to even out the chikki layer. remove the paper and then with a knife, cut horizontally and vertically. Let the peanut chikki cool at room temperature. Once cooled, break them and serve peanut chikki.
