- 1 cup freshly prepared Paneer
- 1/2 cup full fat Milk
- 3 tablespoon Ghee
- 1/4 cup Milk powder
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cardamom powder
Steps to make to make GreenPea Barfi
- Take 1&1/2 cup of frozen peas and 1 cup of paneer.
- With 1/2 cup of milk blend the peas to make a smooth puree.
- Transfer to a heavy bottomed pan.
- Cook in medium heat until the mixture becomes thick and removes the raw smell of peas.
- Add in ghee, mix well and fry for about 10 minutes(low heat).
- Next add in 1 cup of paneer/chena and mix well.
- When paneer incorporate to the pea mixture well, add in 1/4th cup of sugar and milk powder. Also add in cardamom powder and mix well.
- Further cook in medium low heat until ghee starts seperating from the mixture.
- Remove from heat, grease a dish with little ghee and spread the mixture on the dish evenly.
- Spread some walnut crush or cashew crush and keep in the refrigerator to set.
- After 1/2 an hour, take out the dish and cut in barfi shape pieces.
- Serve this moderately healthy barfi or fudge to your family.
